It was only a matter of time before the message reached Tripathi who immediately backed out from the deal to displace Paresh Rawal. Social media campaigns and fan-made posters were urging the producers to change the casting. Now it is official that neither the actor conveyed any signal nor did the production believe his participation was on the cards. Tripathi also made it a point to mention that “Paresh ji is irreplaceable. I’m honored by the love, but let legends remain legends.”
