Leaked details on tecno camon 40: After the long wait, the Tecno Camon 40 Series is reported to be released globally, showcasing improvements over it’s earlier version, the Tecno Camon 30 variant. Furthermore, the reports suggest in the lineup there would be various models offered such as Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro 4G, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G. Speculations indicate the series is set to be launched around Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 4th of March, 2025 and in India after May.

All the models under the Tecno Camon 40 series will be available in Emerald Lake Green and Galaxy Black. Meanwhile, base and Pro graded models would feature an extra Glacier White color while regular Camon 40 would have different Emerald Glow Green color option.
Increase in Display Quality and Refresh Rate
Both Tecno Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro will offer AMOLED screens measuring 6.78 inches. The 5G variant Tecno Camon 40 Premier is expected to feature a slightly larger AMOLED screen at 6.74 inches.
Both the 4G variants are set to have 120 Hz refresh rate while Pro and Premier 5G models are expected to be increased to 144 Hz.
The base model will have a flat screen, while a curved display will be introduced in the Pro version, and a quad-curved display comes in the Premier model.
Hardware and Performance Upgrades
With the introduction of Tecno Camon 40 series, there will be improvement on performance due to the powerful integrated MediaTek chipsets:
Tecno Camon 40 4G and Camon 40 Pro 4G – Both are equipped with the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset with 8GB of RAM and additional 8GB of virtual RAM.
Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G – Includes MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate I/O with 12GB RAM and also has virtual RAM expansion capability of upto 12GB.
Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G – Comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI SoC with 12GB of RAM and the capability of supporting 12GB of virtual RAM.
The flagship models will be having the most storage available with 256GB in all models.

Estimated Price and Release Date The features of the Tecno Camon 40 series suggest the devices will pack flagship-level technology in a mid-tier device. The products will officially be revealed at MWC on March 4, 2025 and should be available to Indian customers by May 2025. While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, they are likely to be priced competitively among mid-range smartphones.
