Indian Bank has published a formal notification regarding the recruitment of 1500 Apprentice posts via online mode throughout the Indian States. This is a great chance for starting the banking career of fresh graduates by participating in a structured training program as established by the Apprentices Act, 1961.
The entire recruitment process is web-based. An application should be made by candidates before August 7, 2025. The selection of candidates will be done through an online test and then a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must:
- Be a graduate in any subject from a university that is a member of the accredited universities list.
- Meet the age criteria: they have to be 20-28 years old on the date stated in the job advertisement.
- Satisfy the local language requirements in the state of their application.

Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
After the online test, candidates are required to take the Local Language Proficiency Test. They should be able to read, write, speak, and understand the official language of the state to which they have applied.
If a candidate fails these tests, he/she is no longer in the competition, even if passing the online test successfully.

Applicants should go to the website indianbank.in and fill in the online application by August 7, 2025. The process is as follows:
- Register on the portal
- Accurately complete the form with personal, educational, and regional information
- Upload a scanned photo, signature, and handwritten declaration
- Pay the application fee
- Submit and print the application for records

What Happens After You Apply?
As soon as the application form is successfully submitted, the applicants will get a confirmation on their registered email and mobile number. The application form and payment receipt should be kept carefully as they may be required in the future.
Exact dates for the online test will be communicated to the candidates by the Indian Bank. Candidates who qualify in the online test will only be allowed to take part in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Final selection will be the performance in both the latter stages put together, which is subject to document verification.
Candidates must verify that the information entered in the application form is correct. Any deviation noted while checking may result in the rejection of the application. Redundancy and the accuracy of their photograph, signature, and the declaration in handwriting must be ensured, and their scanning and uploading are mandatory.
Important Instructions for Uploads
While you are filling the online form, make sure that you have these documents at hand:
- A recent passport-size photograph (in color)
- Signature in black ink
- Graduation certificate or marksheet
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN, Passport, etc.)
- Handwritten declaration as per official format
