Great right? Sausages, salami, and bacon are quick protein and easy meal prep. However, every slice contains some agents that your liver does not appreciate.

Due to the high amount of processing, meats are full of preservatives such as nitrates and nitrites. These hold back the spoilage of the product, yet in the process of digestion, your liver has no choice but to participate in the game.

Usually, their saturated fat content is in its soar while time goes by. As a result, your liver becomes overweight with fat that decreases its productivity and raises inflammation.

Even though these meats are not fatty, nor do they contain carbohydrates, for your liver, in essence, they are considered unhealthy.

Protein is an essential nutrient for our bodies; however, not when chemically produced. Hence, the liver learns it all.
