14. Ginger Tea: The Anti-Inflammatory Detox You Didn’t Know You Needed

Ginger tea is not only a remedy for colds or stomach troubles— it is also a strong detox drink for your kidneys.
Ginger has compounds such as gingerol and shogaol that exhibit anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
These not only help lower the inflammation of kidneys but also enhance the blood flow, providing the elimination of the waste.
In addition, ginger keeps up digestion and metabolism, which are indirect sources for the kidneys to get healthier.
If you want to make it fresh, you can boil sliced ginger in water or use dried ginger powder for ease. To make it more palatable and give it more detoxing properties, add lemon, or put a little honey in it.
Drinking ginger tea two or three times a week can be a great support for kidney detox, especially during the rainy or cold seasons.
