12. Beetroot Juice: The Blood Flow Booster That Supports Kidneys

Beetroot juice has been identified as one of the best natural agents for the improvement of blood flow, as it is loaded with nitrates which are converted in the human body to nitric oxide.
This process is giving more space to blood vessels that in turn allow tissue to get more oxygen and nutrients, in this case, the kidneys. Better blood flow is definitely going to lead to better filtration, which is the main function of the kidneys.
Besides that, beetroot is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents that are capable of alleviating the impact of toxins and stress.
Still, it should be taken in limited quantities, mostly by people who are prone to kidney stones, since beetroot contains oxalates.
A glass of fresh beetroot juice can be enjoyed once or twice a week with added carrot and cucumber for taste and effect.
